That's right folks. I'm one of those lucky guys who is getting their 2006 today. Had an appointment for 1pm but just got a call from the dealer. Sheepishly they said, "could you make it at 2pm?" I guess they were a little behind due to the large number of Prius deliveries today. I laughed and said "oh sure......I'm not surprised". So, next time you see me I will be able to put something new on my signature. Something like: 2006 Package #8 Barcelona Red beauty with Gray Leather Interior. Darn, this last hour now is killing me. PAS (Prius Anticipation Syndrome) is peaking right now. :wacko: So wish me luck. I'm glad my wife is actually driving me up to the dealer.

I AM CURED OF PAS (Prius Anticipation Syndrome) WOW, is all I can say. That Barcelona Red is one awesome color when its delivered. Just parked it in the garage and all I can say is anyone who hasn't seen this color should take a peek at it. Boy, am I lucky. The mpg from the dealer (27 miles away) was a good 47.6 mpg. Not bad for the first trip. The temp is still about 41 degrees so it isn't even freezing here yet. So, now it's getting to know it and go through the phases that Dr Evan described so well. Who says driving isn't fun! Oh, I didn't get a ticket either. hehe
The dealer told me they put 35 lbs in the tires. I should have told them to put in 42. But yet again, the reason I didn't is because I swapped out the OEM tires for Goodyear Assurance Comfortreds. And because I have only owned these tires for about 24 hours now I just haven't had any time to research what I should put in them. So.........any suggestions? Knowledge about these tires concerning tire pressure info? etc etc etc. Galaxee...oh what a beginning. Are you planning on eating sometime near when you run by Racine on your trip?
we'll be rolling through there around 5am CST on the way up... so unless you're a REAL early riser we'll probably miss you on the way up. we'll see what time we leave on the way back down south, maybe we can arrange something then.
