Every time a cold, dry, air mass comes in, the dust increases and I develop a dry cough. Of course this scares everyone else thinking COVID-19 but it is an upper throat tickle. Mask wearing makes it less bad. Bob Wilson
Have you considered that your "diagnosis" might not be totally accurate ? Maybe "dust" is not the culprit but dehydration instead. Wearing a mask decreases the drying out of the breathing pathways too.
