Since I live in the city and have to park my car on the street I decided to buy a dummy security face plate I found on Ebay. I think it does an adequate job hiding my Sony HU. I figured it might not fool a thief in daylight but in low light at night I think it certainly would. I had to modify the back of the face plate since it had this large plastic circle that could be used for attaching a suction cup that stuck out about 1/4"-1/2". It stick out too much for my tastes so I cut it away and sanded it smooth and then added some smooth cloth to protect my screen when attached. Now it sits nicely against the HU screen.
