I've been having trouble with the headlights on my 2008 Touring lately. I had one replaced and, understandably, the old one burns out. However, the new one tends to flicker and shut off as well. I've already swapped them on different sides and the problem continues. The new one is an EagleEye brand. I don't know anything about headlight brands however I've noticed everyone on here talks about philips only. I just found out about something called "retrofit". I know that the second gen has an on going issue with its HID system. Would retroffitting be a good way to avoid this problem? Because of this problem I don't want the HID lights. I'd rather have the regular ones.
