Earth Day 2005 is rapidly approaching; it will be on April 22nd. Is anybody planning on doing anything Prius or Hybrid Car related for Earth Day? Maybe a convoy, presentation or demonstration to raise awareness of viable alternatives to gas guzzlers? If there are any events anybody is planning for my area (withing reasonable driving distance of Durham, NC) I would love to hear about it and would consider participating. - Bill
Great idea! I would like to do the same in Burke, VA. At least two families in the congregation drive the classic Prius and another the new 2005 Prius plus one Honda Civic Hybrid. That would make a small parade / demonstration. Led by the others, the latest one to purchase is the senior pastor (spouse to me) on 27th March. She is about half way through initial tank of gasoline and is very happy with the Pkg# 2 Silver.
