Does any one have this combo? I'm trying to make sure that the pinhole into the hitch is compatible. Thanks.
All 2" receiver hitch pin holes are the same standard size. If your Kuat rack is designed for a 2" receiver then its pin will fit. My concern with using a Kuat bike rack on a Prius is that they can put the weight of bikes substantially further rearward than a hanging bike rack and cause stress on the Prius body. That said, a Kuat is an alternative for carrying unusual bikes that won't fit well or fit at all on a hanging rack. I sure wouldn't add any extensions to a Kuat and carry three or four bikes. That would put the weight of the extra bikes far, far back and cause a lot of leverage stress on the Prius.
