there seems to be differences between the "c" users manual and what gets posted here regarding the "c". are the car in Hawaii (Servco Pacific) given different ECU programming? they (Toyota) also wont let Hawaii cars register on their consumer sites such as anything Toyota dot coms. i dont get the "beep" on the Hill Assist for instance (push brake, then push brake firmly) but it still holds the hill when i do it.
I've never been able to get the beep out of mine either........but then I have a slight high frequency hearing loss and the beep might be pretty faint. It certainly is not something that I worry about.
IIRC - Toyota USA and Servco Toyota are not related but entirely separate companies. That's why Cs went on sale in Feb 2012 in Hawaii but March 2012 in the rest of the US. YMMV
