I like my mods like I like my women... cheap, easy, and reversible Everything in this thread cost me <$20 combined. First up, $1 tow hook cover and some spray paint
Next, low bucks rear wiper delete. Spare grommet for a buck, with some hardware and a fender washer I had. There's an offset lip on the back of the grommet, I wanted to trim that off so the fender washer would sit flat. Using a spare grommet meant I didn't have to modify the original, so I could put the wiper back if I want to.
Cargo light mod: I had this 3-LED module left over from another project. I bought a spare OE cargo light for $3 so I could drill a hole to pass the wires through. Mounting it lower means the light shoots under the cargo cover, unlike the original. Not pretty, but functional. Very functional. Here's a photo with the cargo cover in place and no flash:
Last one, top dollar! I have over $10 into this one! Spare console lid, $5 (mine is really nice and I wanted to preserve it.) Vinyl hacked out of a Chevy S-10 seat $no charge (Automotive-grade vinyl is stronger and thicker than the stuff from the fabric store. That makes it harder to upholster with, but it's a bit more padded and more durable.) Glue & clothespin clamps $5 This isn't an original idea, I got it from other threads on PC, if you want a how-to, look them up.
