This it probably a common question but I didn't see an exact breakdown of parts needed. I'll be cleaning my intake, EGR valve, and cooler soon and came up with this parts list. I realize some or all of these gaskets may be reusable but I can't afford to have my car down for more than a couple days so I am grabbing all the gaskets just in case. I'd rather waste 50 bucks on gaskets and have them in reserve than miss a day of work. Can you see anything I missed? 2013 Prius, 130k miles
I did mine with no parts list The gas get that comes off of the intake manifold is rubber plenty reusable not an issue You're not going to be getting leaks around your plastic intake manifold gasket pretty much I did take time to grind off the bottom bracket that the bottom bolt that's a pain to deal with goes on and grabs onto so that's just been eliminated deburred sliced area. So that leaves me with an extra nut some people may find that eliminating some of the studs and using bolts might be a thing just to some and that's about it with a little gasket that's also rubber that goes to the metal tube coming from the EGR valve is also plenty reusable these two gaskets on the plastic manifold or orange silicone type material generally you're just take gun brush type affair brushes and run them through the port centered in each of the four ports of the intake manifold blow that with air and you're done there's nothing really happening in there and then you'll break down the EGR if you want to the valve tank the part that has EGR nastiness running through it that'll all clean up soak your EGR cooler and make sure that you have no blockage and you can see daylight both ends on a decently sunny day If you have to tank it for an extra long time won't hurt anything it'll help to have compressed air I have one here with the clog in it that nothing will get it out. Do the tube that runs from the EGR valve to the intake and that should have everything back to gold and silver normal colors and you should be good to go.
