Just walked by the back end of my new Prius III and heard what sounded like a electric motor running from the general area of the exhaust pipe at the right rear end of the car. This was about 5 hours after I last drove it. What am I hearing? Does it have anything to do with either battery?
It's normal, it's the exhaust fuel evaporation leakage check and is mentioned in the manual... Edit again, oops, saw you said now it was a Prius III but assuming you did not update your profile. Nonetheless, it is still normal for your car to be performing this noise.
