I had one of our account customers in on Friday from ESBI [Electricity Supply Board International]He immediately knew what car he was in. Friday traffic heavy as usual and quite a distance to travel across town so we had time for a lenghty and interesting chat. He told me that ESBI were currently involved with a number of manufacturers including a Renault/Nissan partnership to produce a vehicle with a battery pack that can be removed and replaced in the same time as it takes to fill up with gas,so instead of stations having recharge ports you simply exchange your depleted pack for a fully charged one and off you go. Shortly after i dropped him off i was listening to a current affairs programme on radio and a guy from the same company was on talking about the same subject.....Interesting!!
