we have a sound under the right seat rail on the passenger side of the car. it sounds like a ball bearing rolling in a channel, and can be heard when you stop. does not make any sound when you start, just stopping. is there some sort of a switch down there which energizes something when the vehicle is stopped?
Check all the storage compartments......cup holders, door storage, glove box, etc. before you look for something more exotic. In a small car, noises can echo and fool you with their location.
we bought it a year ago. have removed everything from the glove boxes, center console etc. did narrow it down to the right seat rail of the passenger seat. i laid on the rear floor while the car was being driven and stopped. it definitely has something to do with that seat rail assembly.
Someone posted finding a ball bearing in the headliner, so one in the seat rail is not impossible. You can unbolt the seat rails and see. SCH-I535
It's not uncommon to have an errant fastener or object rolling around. If you have isolated it to the seat rails, take a magnet tool and swipe it up and down the seat rail channel. You might get lucky.
