My company uses the prius c hybrid and we just had one where it looks like the engine caught on fire. The whole front to the windshield is burned but a customer was using it so we don't know what happened. Any ideas??
welcome! there are a few possibilities, but it's so rare, we would just be guessing. i suppose the likely culprit is electrical shorting, maybe caused by vermin chewing on the insulation.
About like with any car. Probably either an electrical short or a fuel leak onto something hot like the exhaust manifold.
