Just bought a new 2014 prius three and been having some issues with the entune nav. Seems very glitchy. Sometimes it will freeze up, if I'm traveling a new road that the nav doesn't recognize it will start going crazy. Is there a way to find out if you have to most updated maps?? Its a 2014 so I would think its updated.
The version of the maps won't make any difference. But you should have the latest version of Entune which is 3.2.0. Check it at Setup > General > System Information (scroll down). If you don't have this version ask the dealer to update it for you. Alternatively, you can do it yourself by following these instructions at the ToyotaNation forum. If you're on the latest version of Entune and still having problems, definitely get the dealer to look at the nav system.
I did not have the latest version of Entune...Go figure a brand new car. The link you posted worked great!!! Have the newest version now. Thank you so much for the info.
Perfect! glad it worked. So far mine hasn't had issues, but i went ahead and updated to 3.2 almost immediately after i received my car.
