I have had the Prime for 3 weeks and use Entune primarily to check on the status of the charge and turn on remote climate. It has worked well for these features every day, until last Saturday. Now when I try either charge status or remote climate it tries to connect to the car and then I get the attached error message. I have tried several times a day since Saturday. I rebooted my phone (iPhone 7), deleted and reloaded app, etc. I called Entune and they were fairly useless, they then conferred with Toyota but still no answers - after 45 minutes I was told to make appointment with the dealer. I will have them look at it next week but thought I would ask if anyone else has/had this problem.
I had the same problem since last Friday, but my phone is running on Android. Did you get this resolved at the dealer?

Entune App connected to my car however when I tried to use it. It tells me to disconnect my handset 1st. What's the point to disconnect my iphone6 first?
As best as I can figure this out, what it is saying is that if the car is connected to the Entune app, then you are supposed to interact with it only using the user interface on the car. If you want to interact with the Entune app from the smartphone, you have to disconnect it from the car. The Entune smartphone app both provides backend data connectivity for the apps on the car, as well as things you can do from the smartphone as an ordinary smartphone app. But not both at the same time.
