I briefly thought this might go in the 'News' forum but the second paragraph ("Scientists") suggests it is a better fit here: Source: They May Not Buy Them But Americans Like EVs | TheDetroitBureau.com We might not all be 'Rocket Scientists' but we have friends who are . . . <grins> Bob Wilson
What was the survey question? It sounds a little like UCS got 65% of responders to say the answer they wanted to hear.
Haven't read the article yet but I just love surveys people say they will "consider" something (e.g. a hybrid or EV) but err... actions speak louder than words. From the press release at 40% of American households could easily drive EVs without changing habits From November 2013 Dashboard - HybridCars.com, the plug-in take rate for November 2013 in the US was only 0.71% and that includes a bunch of PHEVs (e.g. Volt, PiP, Ford's Energis, etc.)
Hummm!!! Would you consider losing weight in 2014? Would you try to exercise more in 2014? Bob Wilson
OH. EV Attitude study. I saw "EV Altitude Study" and was mighty curious as to what that would be about. It's a bummer when your curiosity, however misplaced, is left unfulfilled.
