It appears that on the PIP one can see what percent of the drive is in EV mode. Is this option available on the Prime and if so how do I see it?
idk where, but you can. just an fyi, with gen 4, toyota has changed ev% to anytime the engine isn't running. with the pip, it was wall charge only.
EV ratio is displayed on “Drive Monitor” see pg 221 of manual. Edit: the page is for 2017 Prime manual. It may be on different page for 2018 Prime manual, but the operation and display should be the same. Drive Monitor Displays information such as the driving time and average vehicle speed, which are linked with the current mileage display. (→P. 198) Current contents of the display Displayed information shows which driving record the currently displayed contents are based on. “Elapsed Time” “Average Speed” “EV Driving Ratio” For the displayed distance of the mileage display, the percent traveled using only electric motor power is displayed. Each time is pressed, the mileage display (→P. 198) switches and the contents of the “Drive monitor” change as follows.
Not for the OP's original question. Split screen will not help to find out the percent of the drive in EV mode.
