For Prius owners in the central Virginia region, you are invited to Drive Electric RVA's first EV Round-Ups on Thursday, Nov. 20 and Saturday, Dec. 6. What the heck is an "EV Round-Up?" It's an opportunity for electric vehicle owners to learn and educate -- to learn more about the ins and outs of EV ownership from each other and to educate the general public about EV technology. The Nov. 20 EV Round-Up will be at Main Street Station in downtown Richmond, VA from 12 to 1 PM. It is being held in conjunction with the Mid-Atlantic Alternative Fuel Vehicle Roadshow, which will have a vehicle display and seminars to promote the use of EVs and other alternative fuel vehicles in commercial fleets. You can attend the seminars free of charge from 10 AM to 12 PM. The Dec. 6 EV Round-Up will be at the My Manakin Market, just five minutes west of Short Pump in Goochland County. A variety of vendors attend this farmer's market every Saturday and the organizers have been looking for car clubs to attend as well. To RSVP, go to our page on Facebook (just search for "Drive Electric RVA" and you'll find us). Feel free to share this info with fellow Prius owners or curious friends and family. Hope to see you there! Charles Gerena Lead Organizer, Drive Electric RVA
