Hey guys - I need some serious help! After I used the ac evap cleaning (injecting foam into the ac drain line) my car is giving me a “hybrid system malfunction” warning. My cruise control and 3 buttons to drive mode, ev/hybrid and EV auto stopped working while I’m driving..

It does work for a brief moment right when I start up my car.. before the hybrid system malfunction message comes on. Anyone ran into this before? Any help is appreciated!

Well, the battery is cooled by the A/C on those cars. I can't imagine what happened.. Do you still have some cold air blowing? If there is a Hybrid Battery Malfunction indication, there is a CEL code stored in the ECU. Have you checked it?

This is a 5th gen, or the 2018 per your avatar?

If 2018, perhaps something got knocked loose while doing the cleaning, or the cleaner got somewhere it shouldn't have. Could also be unrelated to the cleaning.

Can't imagine a A/C issue causing a Hybrid fault on a 2017/2022... 2023+ however.. as always, i can be wrong! Definitely want to know what happened however..
