Folks, I like my headrests low. Always have. But for some reason, the headrests on both sides of my 2010 Prius won't stay put. I keep pushing them down, but mysteriously - when no one is watching them - the little rascals sneak their way back up - clear to the stops. Anyone else have this problem? Is it them - or should I look into reshaping the back of my head?:frusty:
When you push back in the seat they creep up. Its an unfortunate tradeoff for more active and effective head restraints...newer head restraints are tilted forward better protecting against whiplash...
My wife complains of the same issue, though I prefer them higher. She takes her headrest out and turns it backwards, putting in back in. It solved the mysterious rising issue, plus it doesn't push her head/neck forward. However, she's not getting maximum head/neck protection either. Happy Motoring, Tom
