Several have recently posted fear mongering articles on PC, how EV's will be draining municipal coffers because governments are finally subsidizing their research and purchasing costs. The Wall Street Journal article below sums it up pretty well: Holman Jenkins: Welfare Wagons - WSJ.com In any event, Bill Moore, writing for EV World does a beautiful job pointing out the Wall Street Journal's HUGE simplistic / lack of thinking error: EV WORLD CURRENTS: Corporate Welfare Wagons In short, Mr. Moore points out the the U.S. sponsors everything from our 401K's (via tax credits), to sponsoring the cost of running the corporate oilie giants (military support in countries that want to kill us, as well as major oil companies typically paying no Fed tax after balancing out their books) as well as tons & tons of other civil & corporate 'projects'. I'm still waiting for a reply from the WSJ. Should I not hold my breath? .
