My prius 2013 i parked my car set p brakes on went out for some shopping. after some times came back to the car and as soon as start driving i got exclamation light (trangle light) .but no any other caution or warning light. i stopped the car stopped the engine and restart the engine then all works fine no any light.when ever i stopped with out stopping the engine and start to drive then trangle light comes . if i stop the engine and re start it all works fine this is happening for last one week. any advice
I believe your trunk is not secured, that happened once to me and it was my trunk not closing propeely
There is a dedicated “Door Ajar” icon that is accompanied by an audible beep. The triangle/exclamation point is supposed to alert you to a more serious malfunction such as an inverter over heat problem. It would be prudent to have it checked by the dealer.
While this symbol can indicate a major malfunction, Toyota also uses it to indicate that a message is currently being displayed on the multi-information display. Have you looked there when the symbol is displayed?
