And it's not just how fast they're selling (almost impossible to find them right now) it's also how much they're selling for when you do find them. It's truly astonishing how fast the price for a used Prius keeps going higher and higher and the listings never hang around and have the price lowered. They actually are barely posted for a few days before selling. I would of never thought I'd see prices like the one below a year or two ago:
Wow! I bought my 2006 2 years ago now with 160k and a bad HV battery for $500. Guess there ain't no such thing as a CHEAP beater car in this crazy market. But on the down side- that 09 is silver. I swear it seems that three quarters of all Prii are silver. If I see one that's blue or ruby red, I stop and take a picture because I almost never see those colors.
