FB_login_failed by James Finch posted Jul 7, 2021 at 1:27 PM Created a new user account with my other gmail. Wondering if anyone else is having issues with their Facebook login?
That could be an APP failure on your device and not really a problem with FB. First, you should wait an hour or two before panicking ........and try to manually login with a browser.
Oh I guess this is not a joke? OK then, Well first you can check if a site is down by going here. Facebook.com - Is Facebook Down Right Now? And if the site were down you would not have been able to get to it. You'd have gotten and error message and site forbidden a 403 or a 503 I think? What you see is the site telling you that either your login or your password is wrong? Oh well I see you fixed it.
No joke. Site is good, I'm logged into Facebook doing things. Right! Not certain. Error dialog states "Facebook login is currently unavailable for this app" No, just created a new account and not using the "James Analytic" jafinch78 account that's associated with my other gmail and Facebook account.
I'm was and am still logged into Facebook however. I'm on a browser using a laptop. Last I knew, you need a web browser to access websites. Anyways, decided to create another account and will look into later. Amen! However, then you (me in my situation) get addicted to Facebook Marketplace picking free or cost effective items versus buying new and the site posting feature turns into your diary/journal.
That list of possible causes seems quite incomplete. The real world throws out more fault varieties than that.
Not necessarily true. There are a LOT of "apps" out there that do nothing but access a specific web site with a custom browser interface. It is odd that your failure mentions an "app".
Good thinking. You probably can tell I stopped programming by the time smartphones came out... or at least were popular which would be around 2008'ish maybe? I definitely no smart phone application programming experience... though definitely agree with you and makes sense even from a scrapping data for analytics, metrics and/or dashboards. I'll have to read into the potential for maybe connecting my James Analytic priuschat account to this account.
