I am struggling to work out what all the lines mean with the backup camera. There are yellow, blue, red. And the other night strange flag poles appeared in the picture. There was nothing close behind. The NZ manual is a bit skint on what it all means.
You have the parking assist system. You can turn most of it off if you wish. The yellow lines are where you're pointed, the blue lines are where you're steering to, (move the wheel and watch the lines move with it). The red line across the bottom is just there to indicate a line about 18" out from the bumper. The flags are there because you have the assist system activated. The buttons on the screen control what's shown.
Hey thanks very much. I didn't know it had that and havent any idea how all that works. I better take it back to the dealer and get them to show me.
