    Hi all,
I'm thinking of getting a Plug-in and trading in my current 2003 Prius in Blizzard Pearl. The car has only 106,000 miles on it, is in virtually impeccable condition inside and out, and still gets 45-47 mpg in regular LA commuter driving.

Question: what's a fair trade-in value? I'm getting $4,500 from the dealer but I feel that this is an extremely low-balled figure: even Edmunds lists the trade in value as $4,750. But given that we are talking about the PiP here – which is apparently selling so poorly that Toyota is willing to give you $2k and 0% financing for 5 years – I feel like my car (and business) are worth more than what's being offered.

Thoughts? (or, for that matter, anyone want to buy it? lol)

(in case anyone is wondering why I say the car gets 45-7 when my fuelly numbers say otherwise: I drive a little crazy, so my fuel econ is worse, plus the Bay Area is cold. my mom was getting 45-7 consistently in Los Angeles.)

Try selling it yourself? There should be a good market for well kept hybrids with low miles for your model year. Makes a great first car/perfect for a student.
