I love "who killed the electric car" and "revenge of the electric car"....but I'm hoping that there are more out there. Anyone have any other faves? -Scott
Seems to be a bit off topic for here. I don't think either of those "documentaries" is about the Prius. You might want to try posting your question in Fred's House of Pancakes | PriusChat
I've had mine called "Back to the Future" by a friend. I'm also considering renaming her from Samantha to R2D3 on someone else's suggestion.
Did you mean to post it in FHOP? I can move it there if you want. Or were you looking for hybrid/EV documentaries?
Both, actually. I'd love to check out any docs on hybrids, electrics etc. Yes, please move to the appropriate forum....thank you
You'll have to rent this one but it is both entertaining and a highly fascinating look into the early days of electric motorcycle racing at the brutally tough Isle of Mann race. This is not a race video and is tastefully narrated by Ewan McGregor. Here's the synopsis: We follow the fortunes of several teams in the run-up to the 2009 race and on their return in 2010, from swaggering US hotshots MotoCzysz to shoestring Anglo-Indian contenders Team Agni and local heroes ManTTx Racing. Charge is the dramatic and highly entertaining inside story of an unlikely group of pioneers - obsessed visionaries, ambitious businessmen, new-tech eccentrics, government ministers and hardcore racers - from as far afield as India, the USA, Germany and Britain. It's a human story as well as a technological one - the teams' hopes for personal glory and commercial success ride on their green machines. It's about the dream of a clean, green world. It's about the dream of winning.
