During the (long) wait for my Prius to arrive, I've been reviewing a copy of the Owner's Manual, to prepare me for that glorious day. (Soon, I'll be asking for pop quizes -- "Quick! Where's the SS/SE disable switch? You have 3 seconds!!") Anyway, amongst the various yellow caution warnings in the manual is one which, for some reason, just makes me laugh: Code: CAUTION Do not put your finger in the key slot. Your finger might be injured. ---- It just makes me flash back to Robert Stack in Airplane: "Get that finger out of your ear! You don't know where that finger's been!"
My favorite is the line when describing how to use the MFD... Use your clean finger to touch the screen Thus implying that one has a choice amongst our 10 fingers as to which become dirty, or that we should preserve one just for using the MFD touch screen!
It isn't in the owner's manual, but my favorite quote from this board was a few months ago. Someone posted a query about how the Prius functioned in the extreme cold (below zero F), and if they should take any precautions. I'm not positive but I think it was John1701a who recommended: "Don't lick your Prius" :jester:
