I wanted to see if typing "home" would take me to my designated homepage. But it did not. Firefox users, go home!
Right click anywhere on your navigation bar. Click customize. Drag the “Home†icon to where you wish to place it. Remove any icons you don’t want. I forgo the “home†icon as I have saved a group of nine tabs as my home page. I can select any one individually from my “Pat’s Tabs†icon drop-down menus on my Personal Toolbar. Typing about:mozilla is more fun than typing "home".
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Sufferin' Prius Envy\";p=\"92824)</div> That's funny! I have the "Home" icon on my nav bar. On the occasion that I entered "home" into my address bar, I already had my hands on the keyboard and didn't feel like reaching for the mouse. It's not so much lazy as it is ergonomic. For those wanting to know, when you type "home" into the Firefox address bar and hit [Enter], you are taken to the Nasa home page.
A lot of people would like to read The Book of Mozilla, unfortunately it doesn’t really exist. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Book_of_Mozilla But that hasn’t stopped some from asking for submissions: http://home.pacific.net.au/~drjon/mozilla.html
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TonyPSchaefer\";p=\"92961)</div> Doesnt work for me. I get an error from the proxy saying host "home" not found. I guess our installed version is old? 0.9.1. I have no rights to upgrade. About:mozilla works.
