BBC News - Ampera paves the way for GM Europe revival One thing I did pick up on was how sluggish the car at higher speeds. They didn't say if the car was running on electric only on with the engine powering the generator, but comparing it to turbo lag on a 1980's car doesn't sound too good. Still, the Volt should be available in the US this Autumn but will it be worth the wait?
Another, more comprehensive review. They're coming thick and fast now so there's obviously a fair bit of interest. Shame we're going to have to wait until 2012 at the earliest before we get our hands on a RHD one. Vauxhall Ampera prototype review - Telegraph
