Youtube, right? For we who are not blessed with that, some filling-in is here: Five or more failed experiments in measuring Global Sea Level: Willie Soon « JoNova Brings us back to Morner: Nils-Axel Mörner - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A geophysicist who clearly understands glacial rebound. We discussed his work before here. We've also discussed Church and White. Although Joannenova apparently does not hold them in the same high esteem as Morner, we are free to explore their work as well: :: Sea-level Rise :: CSIRO & ACECRC :: and draw our own conclusions. Let's don't derail this with the topic of dowsing. It is fascinating and deserves its own separate discussion.
New study using GRACE data shows global sea levels rising less than 7 inches per century | Watts Up With That?
Bottom line is sea level has been rising slowly, even before the higher CO2 levels we have today. So that is the exisiting trend and obviously CO2 *might* make it worse. I do not have too much heartburn when people say the sea level are rising and we have to do some long term infrastructure planning re: storm surges etc. Probably this makes some sense even without blaming everything on CO2.
I'm looking forward to an updated list from the CU Sea Level Research Group: I'm not holding my breath. Bob Wilson
