05 hybrid pack appears dead...P0A80....@ toy of Huntington Beach they want $130 diagnostic....writer tells me toy USA does not have a good will program. I called toy USA and lady took all my info (vin, name $ no,) asked me to call her back when I had codes from dealer. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.

WOW....I'm super impressed. Toyota covering over half my cost on dead hybrid pack almost 2 years out of warranty. They really took care of me. Thanks for this thread....I would've never even thought to ask.
The Service writers manager.... was brought in pretty early during the Goodwill discussion, so they were completely aware of the deal..... When I spoke to my Toyota USA rep "after" they shared the good news with me ....I asked him how they feel about us sharing the news. He asked me to refrain from sharing particulars explaining that each case is individually vetted and their goodwill decisions take into account many different factors so no two are necessarily the same.
I think you have the ability to share some general details. This site just saved you $1,000 or more. Kind of bad form not to report back.
