I have ordered a generic 81980-50030 Flasher Relay through ebay in my effort to convert all Bulbs (except Headlights) to LED. I have my turn signal lights already, just waiting for the flasher now. I ordered a generic one (this one). However, I realized that the one made for Toyotas (DENSO: link ) is clearly written as not compatible with the Gen 2 Prius (2004-2009). Is this false? Also, people have noted that they have used a CF18-08 which is what I ordered and is theoretically identical to the Toyota 81980-50030. My question is whether the Toyota 81980-50030 has the ability to flash the LED turn bulbs during locking (single flash) and unlocking (double/quadruple flash for single/double keypress)? Or would it be identical to the generic one (CF18-08 or the no-name 81980-50030 sold on ebay) which simply doesn't flash during locking/unlocking? If anyone has tried the toyota OEM replacement and cares to shares their result, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, J
