This is how I got my auto-dimming mirror to work. 1. remove mirror (t20 torx and slide mirror up, dont pull) 2. rotate mirror on swivel 180 degrees 3. you have to disconnect the electrical clip from the base, I managed to get mine off (be careful not to damage the cables). 4. reinstall
