    I can't tell you anything about that device but the car already has an FM amplifier- as long as you've maintained the power going into the amp, anyway. That should be pin 8 on the main 10-pin connector at the head unit.

    No. That's a frequency shift device. Radios in some countries start the FM band at 88Mhz. Other countries start at 76Mhz. this will solve your problem if you have an 88 radio in a 76 country
