Hello I have a 2010 Prius with the Type B radio, the basic radio with the mute button. One day last week the FM just quit working. AM works fines. Do not have a satellite subscription so cannot say about that, but the preview still work on satellite. Has anyone experienced something like this? Do you have some suggestions of where to start? Car is out of warranty. Thanks!!
Go to a "couple" of reputable car stereo installer/shops. They can tell you real fast, and usually free, if it's something simple or or not. Remember though, go to a couple of different shops, not just two different Cartoys. Then you can make a decision accordingly. The Dealerships, good or bad, usually charge $115.+ to diagnose and you wait most of the day, regardless the repair they quote.
