Fog Light Installation

    I am installing fog lights purchased on this site.

    I am attempting to remove the hood release assembly. The instructions state to pull down on the black cable to release.

    How does the cable release? I dont want to force it.

    Pull the black cable back from the white retainer. There should be enough slack to clear the retainer and move it down toward the floor. The head of the cable will release once it is pointed toward the floor and the cable lines up with the slot in the retainer.

    This is hard to describe..
