Just got the local shop to install fog light and they look awesome... I was wondering if there's an easy way to aim/level them without taking button bumper cover off? Only one needs to be adjusted the passenger side is slightly brighter and aimed higher than driver side when you view them from a distance... Questions: 1. Does anybody know the bolt size for the leveler on the back? 2. Any tricks to aim without removing a bunch of bolts and pieces? 3. What direction goes up vs down... Can't remember if clockwise goes up or counterclockwise goes up?
Congrats. You only need to take off three fasteners on the small covers below the foglights. One bolt/screw, and two of those plastic fasteners where you pop the center up with a small flat blade screwdriver before removing. If you're looking at the back of the foglight housing, you need to turn the adjustment wheel clockwise to get the aim lower. Did they wire up the power wire for your HID harness to the fuse box as well? SCH-I535
So you don't need to remove the black cover underneath the bumper? Just remove that silverish cover of the fog light? Could you expand a little on where those screws are? Would it be easier to remove bottom cover so I could easily access rear of Foglight? No sir --- I actually want to see if I can do the relay myself and save the $. I will tackle that one once the relay comes in but want to try to get these fog lights aimed tonight.
