I'm definitely not a fan. I stopped using them more than 20 years ago for different reasons. Was in Wally-World the other day and just for S&Gs decided to have a look at the Fram filter for our Prius and wasn't impressed. These are the Extra Guard line of filters with the same part number but different designs and packaging, different media? and number of pleats has changed. Made in China of course. If you notice the filter on the left it looks like the leaning tower of Pisa, not even put together straight and could effect the seating/sealing on the end and will probably bypass oil. Sorry about the pics being a bit fuzzy, my cell phone is a dinosaur.
