From boston.com: I found this part interesting: Ford! (and others)! if you deliver a plug-in Ford Edge around 2009 under 50.000 then I will buy one. It is the size of car my family needs (soon) as we have two large dog and see a kid in our future. This, assuming no other manufacturer beats you to it, or even better give me a similar sized pure electric car (say the RAV IV?) with a range of at least 100 miles.

what was wierd about the article is that was NO mention of toyota or any other current hybrids...... the TDI mentioned is already on the road! :blink:
To make it clear. I don't believe in fuel cell technology, but they claim they can swap in a small diesel engine instead. Now a green diesel plug-in electric hybrid under 50k that would be REALLY cool
