I looked for a search option on this mobile version of the site but couldn't find it. So I went to start my 2001 Prius this morning and everything was dead, no accessories, no start, no lights, nothing. If it were the wifes mini-van I'd just hook the jumper-cables and try turning the key. Could it be that simple?
Find your way to the owner's manual. Must be very careful jumping a Prius. I do not know about the 2001 Prius, but in my Prius, there is an electrical box under the hood (I think it has some fuses in it), anyhow.... in that box there are terminals to connect 'jumper cable(s)' or booster to get going. Be careful, find the owner's manual and do it by the book.
