I forgot to charge my PIP last night and as a result my MPG has dropped significantly. Granted it's only for one day (3/1) which means I have the rest of the month to bring the MPG back up. My wife makes fun of me because I'm complaining about getting only 69 mpg.
Yeah, I've gotta say I've been steadily happy with my MPGs as well. Of course with the exception of November thanks to Hurricane Sandy causing gas shortages, a power outage in my area for 2 weeks and oh yeah, the over 5 feet of water in my basement/garage covering even half my GE Wattstation which amazingly worked afterwards! Now, when if ever will they fix the proper JAN to DEC?!
The above charts are all meaningless unless... The average mpg is posted over a given distance. For instance my Avmpg was 93 mpg for 1400 miles before I reset my Trip A. Can you top that?
Don't feel bad Justin... I lived in Sacramento for 5 years and know if I was still there my numbers would be right along side yours bro.
Must've been something in the air, (besides the Santa Ana) because I forgot to charge last night too. Only the second time I've missed a charge in almost a year. I was instantly disappointed when I opened the garage door this morning only to realize there was no cord snaking out to the car. D'oh!
Yes, I wish they would fix the month on the charts. BTW, are you the Paradox that I keep seeing on the top 10 mpg record holder?
That's really impressive but I think I can beat it. I typically get about 1100 miles per tank but I fill up as soon as I hit one bar, usually about 8-9 gallons total. I'm already at 800 miles on my current tank with 7 bars left. If haven't already, you should post your numbers in the mpg spreadsheet so you can compare how well you stack up with other PIP owners. With that said, I think Paradox got me beat.
I'd be stoked to get those mpg numbers if I racked up the amount of miles you drive on a daily basis.
No worries. I do agree with you with regards to the HSI reading. I post mine once I hit 1400. Hopefully I can beat your 93mpg.
