I thought others might be interested in this article. Comments? http://money.cnn.com/2006/02/17/news/compa...oyota/index.htm
well, it's an abridged version of "The Prius That Shook The World" which I found interesting to read. It gives an insight of the amount of work that went into the Prius and isn't something that Toyota just magically came up with overnight.
A very interesting piece, full of detailed history. It mentions a title THE TOYOTA WAY by Jeffrey Liker. Is this a book? Still in print?
I can now answer my own question: THE TOYOTA WAY is a book and an audio/CD. Seems to be about management. The sub-title is "14 Management Principles". The sub-title of the CD is "What Toyota can teach any business about high quality, efficience & speed". There is also a book by the same author called THE TOYOTA WAY FIELDBOOK.
Looks like a repost of the article mentioned in http://priuschat.com/The-Birth-of-the-Prius-t16550.html.
