and try to find those base models on a lot. that's what's so great about tesla. build your own, get it in 3-4 weeks, qualifies for fed credit.

how bout an ariya? would you trust nissan with 44,000 of your hard earned dollars?

one good thing - one supposes it's got to be better than their 1st few years of Leaf production

The Leaf's flaw of passive air cooling for the battery does not apply to the Ariya. It has a grown up thermal battery system.

Last time I drove by the local dealer, they at $5k to $10k discounts on the Ariya windshields. Not on their site, but I'll try to remember to take another glance.

Yeah, they didn't have a base trim sitting in the front when I drove by.
When I checked their site today, they had a $47 discount listed. That might cover the annual registration.

i just got an email from a local dealer. ariya engage. msrp $43,750. lease for 18 months $289./mo. plus $2,500. down.
if there's no shenanigans, i might consider it to get through the vehicle shortage, if they'll give me a decent amount for the pip, they'll be writing me a check.

for my 8-10 miles a day, i don't really care. if i can't get what i want, a short term deal makes sense to me.
so you click on the email promo, and there's nothing on the website. then they want all your personal info, and i said let's stick with email.
then they come back with 'when came you come in?'
i said,' show me the money"
