    Hi team,

I must lean on you all once more, at 173203km my beloved Prius has displayed the following message aswell as four orange warning lights.

I humbly ask for any and all information you may be able to part with in helping me understand what has happened.

    Baz.

It appears this is no different to the first time I encountered this problem. The message reads "Hybrid system check - please stop in a safe place". Now that I have turned the car off and on again, the four dash lights have gone to just two. The team at Toyota were able to remove the message and restore my dash display, however, it relates to the hybrid battery and the answer is simple, the time has come to replace it at a quoted cost of approximately $4000.

Yeah pretty much looks like you might even have the p0 AA6 code. Which is of no consequence but it looks like that could be what's happening here but yeah you need to change the battery and since your car has Japanese writing are you actually in Asia or is this an import and you're in New Zealand or? You'll have to bite the bullet and buy a battery whether it's rebuilt refurbished or new is dependent upon your wallet pretty much.
