We recently acquired a 1,773acre ranch and put it into preservation. It will remain a working cattle ranch. It connects another 1,700 acres of protected lands and we are working on putting a public trail system through these properties so people can enjoy them. In the newscast, a 17 year old student from Del Oro High School is volunteering with us to help build a trail through our Kotomyan Big Hill Preserve. Kotomyan was the name of the closest Maidu village site. This trail will eventually connect over 30 miles of trail system on our preserves as well as a regional park owned by Placer County. The really cool part of this plan is there are very few trails on this side of Interstate 80. Most of the trail systems in this area are in the American River Canyon. Anyway, I thought some of you might enjoy this. New Trail Taking Shape In Placer Foothills -- KTXL
As a republican creation, they may be pro public recreation, but public procreation is a different matter altogether. Sorry, did I go off-topic?
Hmmm, it's Fox so the story must be BS, some kind of right wing propaganda against the poor and downtrodden.
Nah. Fox is fine but like every other news source, they have a slant. It is so obvious that within minutes of listening I can tell which side they slant towards. That goes for Fox and NPR especially.
