Placed an order with Fred Anderson Toyota. At the time, my salesperson told me that we would be able to get it in with just the options that I wanted. 4 weeks later the first offer came....with $2000 of options added on. I turned it down. Second one came the same. Talked to my salesperson, and he told me that things had changed at the dealership since we first did the paperwork, and that to get a larger volume of cars, they were now taking whatever the port (read Southeastern Toyota) sent. I have since gotten my money back. Having thought I had found a straight shooting dealer, I'm somewhat disappointed to have found out that this one is pulling the same stunts that so many other Southeastern Toyota dealers are pulling. Fortunately, I was also on the list with a credit union in Winston Salem (who gets their toyotas through Modern Toyota in W-S) and they estimate that I could have a package 2 within 4-6 weeks.
