There is no split in the pleather seat area, but there is a split on the left upper area. If a driver turns their head they will see it always. Anyways, its probably good for parts at least. I am getting rid of it because I use my Prius for dwelling and need to put in a car fridge and solar panel system and need more cabin space. FREE to SoCal, I can uninstall it where I am at (Long Beach), or can meet you at your place within a reasonable short distance and drop it there. Your choice.
