Well guys, I did a stupid thing- replaced the wheel bearing a week ago and didn’t line up the cup the ABS sensor sits in - chewed it up really good.
I’m looking to replace it, and I’m wondering if there’s any tricks or anything to ensure I get this bugger lined up? I don’t want to eat through another sensor like that.

Are these new drive axles or something You need to really have a look at that tone ring through that hole that you've removed the sensor from The sensor should only be so tall shouldn't really be able to hit the tone ring and get chewed up so if something is able to move up and down like the I don't know The nut isn't tight enough but that shouldn't allow that much slop and the tone ring should be pretty tight around the piece of metal that's knocked around so you need to look at this and see something is moving enough to put the tone ring or something into the sensor which the sensor doesn't really protrude that far down so you need to jack the car up and take a look through that hole where the sensor just was and see what the heck is happening.
