According to my window sticker my gen 5 Prius Limited (not Prime) has the ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY PACKAGE and Cross Traffic-Alert. I know RCTA works but I've never received a Front Cross Traffic Alert so I went through ALL the possible settings. There is one for RCTA but nothing for FCTA. I've read the manual over and over again. The only thing I don't really understand is "My Settings" I don't think you actually set it proactively but rather adjustments made the to various systems (seat position etc.) are automatically stored there. Supposidly changes made to FCTA are stored in My Settings EXCEPT I have no FCTA setting at all.
What am I missing? Any insight appreciated.

You don't have FCTA, only rear. The regular Prius HEV didn't come with the front corner sensors required for FTCA or Lane Change Assist. I think Toyota was planning to install them as part of the Advanced Tech Package at some point, but eventually changed their minds. Maybe cost, maybe an availability problem with the sensors at the time; I just don't know. The Prius Prime PHEV got them, but not the Prius HEV.

How I know: I'm currently in the process of adding them to my Limited. Limiteds with the Adv Tech have the connectors for the sensors as part of the engine wiring harness. Physically installing them was pretty easy. About two hours to pull the bumper cover, install the brackets and sensors, and put everything back together again. The car immediately recognized them, but they need a little programming and calibrating before they're fully operational. The only issue is that there's a pair of known bugs with the Prius, the front corner sensors, and the GTS+ software used to configure them. I was at the ADAS place for 4.5hrs on Wed before they threw in the towel.

I bought a Mongoose adaptor(what Toyota recommends for TechStream Lite) and I plan to start working on it again Monday morning. The known bug list says to report the bug to Toyota and I think they'll do something manually to program the sensors. Cost for the sensors and brackets was around $400 total from Japan. The ADAS calibration would've added a few hundred more to the bill, but they didn't charge me when they couldn't get it to work. I'll do the calibration myself now that I have the Mongoose.
